What Is Gluten…?

In laymen’s term, glutens are proteins that are found in wheat, rye, barley and other grains. They give structure to things such as breads, doughs, cakes, etc. However, it does not stop there; gluten can be found in many products beyond breads, cakes and pasta. Basically, gluten can be found in just about every aisle of the grocery store and in many items even at your pharmacy because gluten is used a filler and a binder.
